The Cultural Framework 'Our Wonderful Life’ guides the cultural directions for the organisation and especially the Cultural Development team.
Our Wonderful Life contains a diverse range of objectives and strategies that celebrate the great things about living in Newcastle, builds on the breadth of current creative activity and addresses issues of community well being, participation, diversity, acceptance and identity.

If you are interested in reading more on Newcastle City Council’s Cultural Framework the ‘Our Wonderful Life Snap Shot’ sets out a summary of the Objectives of the Newcastle City Council Cultural Framework.
Since the Framework’s Launch in 2005 many events have been held to implement the strategies set out in ‘Our Wonderful Life.’ You can read the case studies described to illustrate a selection of these events.
