Parks & playgrounds

Council works with, and for, the people of Newcastle. We want our city to prosper and provide a bright future for our children.

Council maintains more than 345 parks that offer a variety of settings from more formal gardens to parklands, natural bushland and sportsgrounds.

An extensive choice of facilities and services are provided for residents and visitors to enjoy a host of recreational activities.
