Priorities for Council include:

  • Replacing and improving equipment and facilities in playgrounds, parks and ovals
  • Creating new cycleways
  • Researching trends in sport and leisure activities and using that research to shape future projects
  • Enlarging and improving Beresfield Golf Course to meet recreational and environmental needs.

Implementation of the Newcastle Recreation Plan
