
Council offers grant funding through our Community Assistance Program once a year.
Council supports not-for-profit community, cultural, environmental and sporting organisations by providing grant and subsidy opportunities.
Community Assistance Program
Applications closed at 5 pm 24 March 2008.
The Selection Panel has met to assess applications. Recommendations for funding must be adopted in Council's Management Plan 2008 - 2009.
Successful applicants will be advised in early July 2008. Funds will be available from early August.
If your community groupis seeking funds, the next opportunity to apply will be March 2009 for the financial year 2009 - 2010.
Applications must be made on the official form and meet the Community Assistance Program Guidelines (281 kb pdf).

Subsidies Program
The Subsidies Program provides community, cultural, environmental and sporting groups with access to Council owned and operated venues, facilities and services such as City Hall, the mobile stage and road closures for community events.
Applications are now dealt with on a quarterly basis. Closing dates for each year are 1 September, 1 December, 1 March, and 1 June. (Mobile stage and road closures are still processed on an as needed basis).
Applications MUST be submitted BEFORE the event.
To apply for a Venue Subsidy you should read through the Venue Subsidy Guidelines (27.5kb pdf) and Complete the Application Form (29kb pdf).
To apply for a Road Closure Subsidy you need to complete the Application Form (17kb pdf).
To apply for a Mobile Stage you MUST ring 02 4974 2862 first to get a booking number. You can then complete Application Form (119kb pdf).
Please note that subsidies CANNOT be granted retrospectively
Sponsorship
Council is currently inviting expressions of interest from potential sponsors to assist in the delivery of programs and services to the community.
