Aged & disability

Council is committed to ensuring a full range of services and specialised assistance is available for seniors and people with a disability.

We do this though advocacy, assessment, social planning and community development and offering professional support to service providers.

Our community workers provide information, referrals and assistance on aged and disability matters.

The Disability Action Plan 2005 - 2010

The initiatives in the current plan will improve access to information, Council services and facilities, build work opportunities and reduce access barriers across the local government area (LGA).
