Newcastle City Council is working for you to fix our city's roads, tend parks, provide services and make decisions that shape the future of our city.

In 2009 - 2010 Council will spend $22,400,505 on infrastructure projects such as road works, park maintenance and repairs to city assets.

Council will also spend a further $25,183,300 on a range of projects throughout the suburbs of Newcastle, including new floodlights at Islington Park, improvements to the Merewether Beach Lifeguard Facility and works at the New Lambton Gardens community precinct.
