Committees
Council is seeking to appoint community members to the following new Strategic Advisory Committees:
- Transport Advisory Committee
- Urban Planning and Design Advisory Committee
- Economic Development and Revitalisation Advisory Committee
- Environmental Advisory Committee
- Recreation Advisory Committee
- Community and Cultural Development Advisory Committee
- Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee
- Guraki Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Committee
- Youth Council.
Strategic Advisory Committees are advisory committees to Council whose objectives are to provide independent advice to Newcastle City Council within the respective terms of reference of the committees.
Applications are now being sought from interested persons with relevant skills and expertise to serve as community members of the Strategic Advisory Committees.
