- Darby Street Coffee Festival - This is the must do festival for June. Darby Street comes alive with food, coffee, stalls and entertainment for all the family.
- Cultural STOMP Festival - Cultural STOMP, Newcastle's annual multicultural and community festival returns to Civic Park on Saturday May 17th.
- Hunter Means Innovation Festival - The Hunter Means Innovation Festival is being held from Monday 5 May to Friday 16 May 2008 to profile our intellectual capital and innovative creativity in the Hunter. All events are FREE.
