Growth Habit: Sprawling succulent annual herb
Stems and Leaves: Broad circular leaves are supported by stems joined at the centre of the leaf. Leaves and stems are soft and fleshy.
Flowers and Fruit: Large five-petalled slightly funnel-shaped flowers in yellows and oranges.
Special Features: Leaves and flowers can be used often in salads having a distinctly bitter peppery taste.
Control: Hand removal or herbicide spraying.
