Blackbutt Reserve has recently started conducting children’s birthday parties.
One hour jam packed full of fun, close encounters with animals and lots of laughter.
Blackbutt Reserve is the perfect place for any child’s birthday party. Not only does it provide wide open spaces for them to run around, great barbeque facilities and playgrounds but also entertainment for the kids!.
The party group can go behind the scenes, experience close encounters with wildlife and enjoy loads of fun games or craft.
All Mums and Dads have to do is provide the food for the party and we will provide the entertainment.
Birthday parties can be held all year round at a time that suits you!
Cost: $80 for up to 10 kids and $6 per child thereafter.

Bookings
Blackbutt Reserve currently has three (3) picnic shelters that can be booked for Private Functions. These shelters are located at the Black Duck Picnic Area (located off Carnley Avenue) and Richley Picnic Area (located off Freyberg Street).
Whether it be a birthday party, corporate event or naming ceremony these shelter provide an ideal location.
Booking of these facilities is in accordance with Newcastle City Council’s Parks Booking Policy. A fee is charged for the booking of each shelter.
