Blackbutt Reserve’s Volunteer Program aims to:
- Increase services provided at Blackbutt Reserve
- Provide environmental education to young people in our community
- Provide ongoing learning opportunities for volunteers at Blackbutt Reserve
Volunteers at the Reserve undertake a number of tasks including:
- Food preparation, wildlife feeding and cleaning and maintenance
- Environmental Education - Junior/Cadet Ranger Program and volunteer guides
- Park Maintenance
- Bush Regeneration / Weeding Programs
- Public Presentations / Keeper Talks
- Conservation Programs and Projects
- Special Events/Displays
