Blackbutt Reserve’s Volunteer Program aims to:

  • Increase services provided at Blackbutt Reserve
  • Provide environmental education to young people in our community
  • Provide ongoing learning opportunities for volunteers at Blackbutt Reserve

Volunteers at the Reserve undertake a number of tasks including:

  • Food preparation, wildlife feeding and cleaning and maintenance
  • Environmental Education - Junior/Cadet Ranger Program and volunteer guides 
  • Park Maintenance
  • Bush Regeneration / Weeding Programs
  • Public Presentations / Keeper Talks
  • Conservation Programs and Projects
  • Special Events/Displays
