Support Group

The Blackbutt Support Group meets in the Pioneer Cottage at Carnley Avenue on the third Monday of every month at 6:00pm.

The Blackbutt Support Group (174 kb pdf) aims to:

1. Support and maintain the present character of Blackbutt Reserve as a recreational area.
2. Retain the exhibited wildlife and support conservation studies of the wild fauna
3. Raise funds to help improve facilities at the Reserve.

The Group raises thousands of dollars each financial year to support activities at Blackbutt Reserve including the new wombat exhibit.

The Group works closely with staff and volunteers at Blackbutt Reserve supporting a range of activities and projects including the Junior and Cadet Ranger Program.
