Water safety
Water safety is for everyone.
Here are ten important tips to keep in mind
- Never swim alone.
- Read and obey all signs around swimming areas.
- When at the beach, swim where the lifeguards patrol, between the red & yellow flags
- If in trouble stay calm and signal for help
- Always make sure the pool gate is closed
- Don’t run on the wet concrete
- Check the depth before diving in anywhere
- When boating, always wear a Life Jacket
- When near a dam, lake or river, beware of slippery banks & submerged objects
- Never have electrical items near water.
